India is undoubtedly the fastest growing country in the world and has left several countries behind in various fields but still, we fell short in a very crucial topic which is essential for development of any country, education.
Indians have suffered from problems in the educational system for several years. The hardcore focus on bookish knowledge and the valuation of capabilities of a student on the basis of his/her scores are responsible to fade away the other skills from students.
The situation is so tense that today our schools & colleges seem to be factories which every year assembles and trains humanoid robots which do nothing other than being the part of the system and being less knowledgable than an old man.

The education system has forced the students to drag and confine their area of interest from the world to just the text written in between two pages to which we have mistaken as a scholastic textbook.
In fact, it has degraded the minds of students to such a lowest extent because they study such things which have far no use in daily life.
Simply a topper can't learn from a book to tie a screw, to fold the clothes, etc. This makes students unsuitable for the general lives and makes them an "educated dumbs".
It can be never a scholastic textbook which just gains us pretty digits in our mark sheets and overall reduces our thinking capabilities, decision-making powers, understanding, etc and makes us a dumb in front of un-educated but highly skilled people.

We are fed up of this and opinions of "The New Education Policy" have been common in the regular household discussions presently. We don't want our kids to suffer such hardships but we have to be a part of the system.
The present Education Policy, of which we've cursed about was implemented in 1986 and amended in 1992. But have not been upgraded with the fast-changing technologies and new parameters of the 21st century.
So ethically our schools are not suitable for our children right now despited they suited us in our schooling ages. So addressing this most serious issues the first Modi Government had announced to form a committee in 2016 to make inputs in the education policy draft.

It's Chaired by former ISRO chief Dr K. Kasturirangan and it's also known as Kasturirangan committee which contains 9 members which have prepared the draft by taking assistance from several scientists, educationists, principals, etc.
And on 31st May 2019, the final draft was submitted to the Ministry of Human Resource & Development lead by MHRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
